About The Role:


Interested in Procurement?
We are collaborative, trusting, and supportive Procurement team looking for a Procurement Officer to join our existing team. The procurement projects and contracts you will work on, and deliver are vital in supporting communities across the UK.


Reporting into the Head of Procurement, you will be able to build trusting collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including Department of Digital, Culture Media and Sport (DCMS), and the Crown Commercial Service (CCS).

You will be the 'first contact' for any procurement activity requested by the Fund.

Being both motivated and proactive, you will have excellent numerical, analytical, and logical problem-solving skills and pay great attention to detail to make sure information is accurate.

You are a problem solver, with the initiative to react and deliver to ever-changing work demands and priorities.


You will also have the opportunities to lead on the procurement of goods, services and works with the support of your team, providing you with the opportunity to learn and develop.


Hours:
Full time, 37 Hours per week. Flexible working considered***
Interview Date:W/C 13th March via MS Teams


Location:
Expectation to travel to Birmingham Office once a week. Hybrid working


Essential Criteria

  • Knowledge of Public Sector Procurement Rules and Regulations and to provide support to the Procurement Team.
  • Comfortable working with variable customer needs, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to build trusting and longlasting relationships.
  • Capturing, maintaining and monitoring data to provide reports.
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word and Teams.

Desirable Criteria

  • Procurement/Finance/Business related qualification or willing to work towards MCIPS qualification and other appropriate learning and development opportunities.
  • Knowledge of contracts and routes to market.
  • Experience in supporting the development of ITTs.
  • Valuesdriven and passionate about the Fund's purpose
