C++ Developer - Resource Solutions - 12 months - London (hybrid working)

About the Opportunity:

The department oversees the overall technology strategy and technology solutions to drive and enable the Institutional businesses and enterprise-wide functions.

Our clients include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research and GlobalCapital Markets as well as Operations, HR and Corporate Services.

The Fixed Income technology team are involved in developing price and risk calculation algorithms for the fixed-income trading platform and developing electronic trading systems for the bondand FX markets.

The team is working closely with the trading desks to provide the firm a competitive edge by expanding trading capabilities to new businesses constantly while also managing and improving the stability of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

You will work on a combination of longterm strategic development and shorterterm business focused development on our Fixed Income trading platform focusing on the pricing of Swaps and Bonds.
Deliver increased automation to the trading desks and expand electronic trading and pricing capabilities into new business areas. Gain expertise in several components of the platform.
Be able to take full ownership of your projects Interface with a spectrum of technology groups, front office trading desks and strategists to gather requirements and to synthesize technology solutions to meet those business objectives.
Software design and development in compliance with software development life cycle standards.
Project planning, execution and delivery into production environment.

Key Skills required:

Strong proficiency in C++ 11/14/1
Strong experience in Linux serverside environment.
Python programming experience
Development experience in objectoriented programming and working with mixture of new and legacy systems.
Strong pragmatic problemsolving skills, resultoriented, and cando attitude. Excellent communication skills and ability to excel in a global team environment.
Preferably Financial Services industry experience such as Fixedincome, Investment Banking, Commodities, or Equities etc
