Location:
Salford - this is a hybrid flexible working role with the opportunity to work from the office and at home

We're looking for a

Fulfilment Administrator, who will play a critical role in helping the British Red Cross deliver vital and lifesaving first aid training in your local community.


Our Red Cross Training Team deliver First Aid courses at over 200 regular venues across the UK and Northern Ireland and enabling the British public to carry out first-aid for over 30 years.

As part of the British Red Cross, we generate surplus funds back into the wider charity to support our mission of connecting human kindness with human crisis.


How you'll make a difference


The focus for the Fulfilment Administrator is to help support the wider Red Cross Training team with purchasing, and administration.


You'll be responsible for:

  • Processing of daily orders for consumables and equipment,
  • Ensure logs are updated and materials arrive in the correct format.
  • Liaise with various teams, services, and suppliers both internally and externally on a daily basis.
  • Updating competency records
  • Following quality control procedures.
  • General customer service and customer care skills, dealing with queries online and on the phone.
  • Complete scheduled and adhoc administration tasks.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of our external Quality standard(ISO 9001)
  • Actively participates in all team meetings, engages within RCT and BRC as a representative of the Fulfilment team.
  • Supports other team members, and actively participates as a hybrid worker.
  • Works and behaves in accordance with all BRC policies, procedures and in line with our Values in Action.

To be successful in this role you should have...

  • IT literate with competence in MS office outlook, word and excel.
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Good customer service skills
  • Highly organised
  • Good time management skills
  • Able to work on your own initiative to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Experience of general administrative duties in a customer service environment.
  • Experience of working in a busy, fast paced environment.
  • Proven work experience within a broad administrative role with an understanding of financial processes.
