Working three or four days a week, to be agreed with successful candidate
To start in August 2024

Pencaitland Primary School opened in 1975 at its current site, situated in the heart of the village, adjacent to Winton Woods. Outdoor learning is a top priority here.

The school building is one level, semi open plan, with 8 classrooms, a GP/Music room, a multipurpose hall with stage, a library, dining hall, Support for Learning Room, and an After School Club.

The nursery class has a Senior Early Years Practitioner, 5 part-time nursery nurses, and an Early Years Playworker.

Current roll counts 147 + 32 nursery students, supported by a Head Teacher, Principal Teacher, 10 class teachers, PE teacher, and music teacher.

Active involvement from Parent Council and PTA enriches the school community.

The role involves supporting a young person in nursery. Days and hours are subject to agreement with the successful candidate.

Interviews scheduled for May/June, with a starting date in August.

Job Details

To offer care and help to individuals and small groups of pupils with additional support needs.
