We are OCU One Company United. We arecurrently recruiting for an electrician with panel buildingexperience to join our workshop team which is based inResolven.

JobResponsibilities:

Ensure that allwork is carried out in a safe manner that will not present harm ordanger to others and that all company guidelines and procedures arefollowed.

Assembly construction and wiring ofControl Panels as per drawings including use of hand tools andcutting of control panel apertures as per drawings. Work to becarried out in accordance with Hornbill Workshop HandoverDocumentation.

Wiring of Control Panels as perdrawings.

Work to be completed in allocated buildhours.

Identification of any As built drawingdiscrepancies with Workshop Supervisor or ProjectEngineer.

Complete Control Panel wiring checksand system testing in line with our Quality System Testingprocedures.

Attend site when requested to assistwith commissioning or modifications.

Assist otherdepartments when required.

Ensure that all toolsand equipment are stored safely andsecurely.

Ensure that timesheet recording iscompleted accurately and in a timelymanner.

Undertake training as required tomaintain or developcompetency.

Key SkillsRequired:

Strong understanding ofelectrical control principles with the ability to read andinterpret electrical schematics.

Communicationsskills ability to interact with other skilled trade professionalsdesigners and clients.

Proficiency in using handand power tools and testing equipment.

Ability towork well individually and as part of ateam.

Ability to manage time efficiently to meetproject deadlines and complete tasks within the allotted timeframe.

Attention to detail is vital to ensurehighquality standards and compliance toregulations.

Mechanical assemblyexperience.

Busbar fabrication skills aredesirable.

Pipefitting skills aredesirable.
