Clemence Rogers are currently working in partnership with our client - a leading commercial vehicle dealership in recruiting for a Service Advisor based in Northampton

Main Duties


To work as part of a team delivering a first class, professional customer service ensuring that where possible customer enquiries, payments and complaints are resolved at the first point of contact.

To greet customers in a friendly, professional and courteous manner.


To take decisions within established procedures for each service request including logging, processing and progress chasing enquiries, adhering to service level agreements and quality standards to maximise customer satisfaction.


To maintain electronic and written records of letters and forms received, information given, services requested and complaints made, to ensure accuracy of information and efficiency when dealing with customers.


To encourage feedback on services provided and recognise the changing needs of the service, and make recommendations to the Service Manager for service improvement.


To participate in the induction and training of new Service Reception Advisors to ensure a high level of up to date knowledge is maintained.

To undertake general administrative duties to ensure the smooth flow of work within the Customer Service Reception.

The ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.

Works with others to build positive relationships in order to achieve a common goal.

Clearly understands customer's needs and delivers effective solutions to match these needs.

Effectively resolves customer issues as required and presents a positive image of the company to the customer.

Monitors the quality of own work and plans and organizes time and resources efficiently to

Able to work to deadlines.

Full driving license held for a minimum of 6 months with fewer than 9 penalty points.


Experience in a selling environment provides information on a timely basis and in a usable form to others who need to.
