    Job Description:

    As an Electrical Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supervising on-site electrical work for refurbishment and installation projects within the commercial and healthcare sectors.

    Your role will ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Site Management: Oversee all on-site electrical activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
    • Team Supervision: Lead and coordinate the work of site electricians, subcontractors, and other personnel, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
    • Health and Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations on site, conducting regular inspections, risk assessments, and ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed.
    • Quality Assurance: Monitor and inspect electrical installations and refurbishments to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
    • Resource Management: Manage on-site resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
    • Client Interaction: Liaise with clients and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any on-site issues or concerns.
    • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any on-site challenges promptly to minimize delays and ensure smooth project execution.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, daily logs, and safety documentation.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager or in a similar role within the commercial sector.
    • Extensive background in managing electrical refurbishment and installation projects in commercial and healthcare settings.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.
    • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or building services (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ, or equivalent).
    • Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., NICEIC, IET) is advantageous.
