Supply Heroes are looking for a part-time Teaching Assistant to work with a supportive and energetic primary school in Small Heath, Birmingham with a fantastic reputation.

They are looking for a passionate Reception Teaching Assistant to work across the classroom with a pro-active, enthusiastic and engaging approach.

The role will start September 2023 and will be mornings only and for the full


The role will be classroom based, however; you may run targeted interventions supporting students in a small group basis as well as 1:1.

You will assist the teacher in planning/carrying out activities for the pupils and also help in preparation and organisation or the classroom resources.


The school are looking for:

  • Somebody with a passion of working with children
  • Experience of working in a primary school, particularly within EYFS or KS
  • Have the ability to engage with children and help build positive relationships
  • Be able to manage any challenging behaviour in a consistent manner
  • A relevant teaching assistant qualification

£47.00-£55.00 per day

Experience:

Teaching Assistant: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Teaching Assistant Qualification (required)
