    Supply Heroes is a recruitment employer that specialises in Teachers, Support Staff, Senior Leaders and all school staff in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

    The role of the Education Resourcing & Compliance Consultant is an integral part of our business. You will be responsible for ultimately safeguarding children in nurseries and schools across Birmingham and the West Midlands.

    Your key responsibilities will be Candidate Resourcing; Candidate attraction through various job boards, placing and responding to adverts, referrals and generating new ways to source candidates. This leads to Candidate Compliance; Candidate registrations online and face to face, clearing of candidates ready to be placed into schools and Customer Service for candidates (and Clients where necessary) whilst keeping up to date with relevant legislation such as KCSIE, DFe, APSCO. Weekly and daily monitoring of the live data base is essential in order to ensure candidate checks are always up to date. This is a fast paced and rewarding role where you will learn the fundamentals of working in Education Recruitment.     • Be able to work in a timely manner, due to the high demand for candidates needed for supply.
    Main Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Your ultimate priority is to vet and check candidates correctly against APSCO Standards, Dfe, KCSIE and industry standards before they are placed in to schools by consultants in the shortest time. You will be communicating with candidates over the phone, text message and by email.
    • You will manage a candidate pipeline and assist Consultants with sourcing new candidates on Job Boards, Adverts, (and placing adverts), referrals and other new resourcing strategies and booking them in where necessary in the diary for a Consultant to meet online / face to face and begin work on their compliance starting with the initial checks.
    • Your goal is to support Consultants place Live candidates into bookings and meet the demands from clients. This requires thinking ahead, responding to new files immediately whilst prioritising candidates through a robust clearance process, whilst adapting quickly to changing guidelines. You will be required to conduct CV checks; ensuring there are no gaps in work history, Application form checks, ID Checks, DBS checks correctly including using the DBS update service, References, Teacher Checks, Trust ID checks, Prohibition Checks, Online Search Checks and where necessary Overseas Police Checks and qualifications from abroad (ENIC checks) within a 24-hour deadline whilst providing the best candidate experience.
