£26,700 - £34,700 per annum

Coventry/Cambridge/Hybrid (depending on your location)

Contract: 6-month Fixed Term Contract/Secondment opportunity


We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.


We're looking for a Customer Support Lead to deliver support to OCR centres on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract, for the upcoming exams series.

About the role


This role provides critical support to Exams Officers and supports the wider network of Customer Support Managers delivering outreach OCR centres.

The role will also be responsible for taking the lead in providing additional support for new or very inexperienced Exams Officers where a greater level of support is required.


What you'll be doing:

  • Preparing and delivering online training for Exams Officers
  • Producing supporting materials, including video, infographics and other materials
  • Working with the Customer Support Team to deliver bespoke training for centres
  • Work with centres with new or inexperienced Exams Officers to ensure appropriate support is place
  • Be the point of contact for centres without an Exams Officer
  • Gather and respond to customer feedback

About you


You will have experience in a customer led environment and understand the importance that exceptional support plays in delivering a successful summer for OCR.

  • Be passionate about delivering a brilliant customer service
  • Be comfortable presenting to large groups
  • Be calm under pressure and able to juggle several things simultaneously
