    They are a leading educational institution in Birmingham, dedicated to providing high-quality learning experiences for students in the field of Mechanical Engineering.

    As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a passionate and skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team.

    The Role:

    As a Mechanical Engineering Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our lecturers and ensuring the smooth operation of our workshops


    Your responsibilities will include:
    Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and stock levels within workshops.
    Ensuring the proper maintenance of equipment to facilitate effective learning.
    Providing students with safe and tested equipment for practical sessions.
    Offering support to students with queries on Engineering topics when required

    Requirements:
    To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

    Background in Engineering with a minimum of a Level 2 Engineering qualification.
    Willingness to undergo a DBS check, paid for by the college
