    Description

    We are looking for a Senior Analysis Engineer (Pipeline Installation) to join the Pipeline Group (PG) at our Sutton, London office on a full-time, permanent basis.

    Working as part of or overseeing a team, our installation analysis engineers will perform analysis of rigid pipeline methods (S-lay, J-lay and Reel-lay) supporting either live projects, FEED studies or tender proposals.

    PG supports Subsea7's pipelay projects globally and our analysis engineers play an integral part in finding solutions to complex engineering problems. Our engineers are recognised for their expertise and can oversee specific critical subjects either on business improvement, or projects.

    What will you be doing?

    The Senior Analysis Engineer will undertake a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities, however some of the expected key responsibilities however will be:

    • Accountable for planning of your analysis scope.
    • Ensure installation analysis solution is fit for purpose while meeting client specifications
    • Mentor/support junior Engineers on their scopes.
    • Provides engineering support during operations with occasional periods offshore or on yard.
    • Participates actively to the Pipeline Group department know-how consolidation
    • Proposes innovative solutions allowing cost & risks reduction.

    What experience would we like you to have?

    • Relevant experience working within an offshore subsea pipelaying environment. Experience in similar projects may be considered.
    • Demonstrable experience and proficiency with Orcaflex is essential.
    • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering or technical subject
    • A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively establish relationships and communicate across all levels of stakeholders both internal and external, up to the highest levels.
    • Proven ability to prioritise and organise workload to meet demanding deadlines whilst maintain a good and accurate level of report writing.
    • This role may involve short spells of overseas travel so candidates may need to show a willingness and flexibility to meet these demands
