Health & Safety Manager to join our team in
Maidstone, with hybrid working available.You will join us on a
full-time, permanent basis,and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of
£45,151 - £50,440 per annum.

About the role:


As a
Health & Safety Manager, you will work with senior managers to set the health and safety agenda for both operational response and day to day work activities.

You will seek out emerging trends that could impact colleagues working inKFRS. Working with the Health and Wellbeing Manager you will help promote positive cultural values and behaviours.


As our Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining trusted relationships with stakeholders to influence and promote good health and safety practice
  • Monitoring, reviewing and engaging with policies, procedures, investigations and audits to ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Framework
  • Managing and leading the Health & Safety Advisers
  • Analysing and interpreting data to help compile reports on accidents, trends and recommendations
  • Identifying, coordinating and carrying out health and safety training to cover all aspects

What we're looking for in our Health & Safety Manager:

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation and implementation of such legislation within the workplace
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work activities to respond to dynamic issues as well as set deadlines
  • The leadership skills to guide, support and motivate staff
  • NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, or similar relevant qualification
  • Risk assessment experience in all health and safety areas including for example Manual Handling, COSHH, Display Screen Equipment, Noise, etc
