    Description
    Our client is a leading provider of energy and environmental consultancy services in the UK.
    They are currently seeking an Environmental Consultant located in Winchester.

    They are looking for an experienced environmental practitioner with either a background in consultancy or having worked in a carbon management role within an organisation.

    You will be working at the core of their established team of consultants supporting clients with carbon reporting, GHG verification and developing decarbonisation strategies that will support their customers in their journey to Net Zero Carbon.

    As a team member, you will have to provide technical input to a number of projects whilst being responsible for your own projects.

    Therefore, good project management skills are essential.

    As an Environmental Consultant you will:
    # Develop GHG Emissions Reports and Carbon Footprints to support clients with annual reporting and monitoring carbon performance. For example Net Zero Carbon, SECR, Mandatory GHG Reporting and other sector specific reporting (such as Councils, Universities, NHS, Real Estate).
    # Provide Net Zero Carbon support including the completion of GHG Emissions Baselines, GHG Emissions Reduction Trajectories and development of Net Zero Carbon Strategies.
    # Support customers to set credible Net Zero Carbon and GHG Emissions Reduction Targets, familiarity with Science Based Targets (SBTs) is preferable.
    # Provide technical guidance on carbon management, Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions reporting, data management and alignment of carbon performance within wider sustainability or ESG strategies.
    # Write high quality technical reports that provide detailed analysis of carbon performance and decarbonisation projects and deliver meaningful recommendations for their customers.
