The role:


Alexander Steele are on the lookout for a Production Planner to join an ambitious and growing Food production business in the Hertfordshire area, supplying major supermarkets & wholesalers throughout the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a strongteam and a fantastic business.


On offer:


  • Great salary of £23,000 £26,000


  • Day Shift, Tuesday

  • Saturday 7am 16:00 (4pm)

Key tasks:


  • Responsible for allocating stock to customer orders using FIFO
  • ERP system maintenance
  • Keep high communication levels with production, Commercial and Transport
  • Ensure outbound products are correctly packaged
  • Ensure systems are in place to capture waste
  • Ensure H&S standards are always high
  • Able to prioritise certain tasks that are needing done urgently
  • Great communication skills verbal and written
  • Computer literate with strong ability with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Familiar with ERP system
