Salary: Marie Curie Pay Scale, aligned with AFC BAND 5 £28,407- £34,581 pro rata, per annum, plus enhancement (depending on experience)
Hours/Contract: Permanent, Part time - 18 hours per week (3x 6-hour shifts)
Based: Community Based - Belfast

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our team in Belfast. You will work alongside a Clinical Nurse Manager and Senior Nurse as well as other healthcare professionals to provide an integrated and co-ordinated service that delivers care and support to people with terminal illnesses, whilst also offering vital emotional support for their families.

What we are looking for :
The Marie Curie Urgent Hospice care at home Service in Belfast delivers nursing care and support for terminally ill patients and their carers throughout the day alongside the district nurse. Calls would include palliative care assessment, administering medication and providing support to family. (Other services include multi visit/ overnight service/ Blood transfusion service **these are trust area specific**) We are a community based palliative care service whose aim is to respond quickly to support palliative patients and their carers within the community, usually in the patients' own home. We aim to prevent inappropriate admission to hospital and the choice for the patient of preferred place of care.
