    Description

    Become an instrumental figure in shaping the technological landscape as a Principal Software Architect with our esteemed client. In this role, you'll spearhead the development of a pioneering cloud-native solution aimed at fortifying defenses against fraudulent activities in real-time.

    This unique opportunity offers a hybrid work environment, with options to be stationed at either our client's Cambridge or London offices. Enjoy the flexibility of visiting the office a few times a week, fostering dynamic collaboration with the Cambridge-based Engineering team.

    Your Daily Endeavors:

    • Lead the development of a cloud-native fraud detection platform, emphasizing scalability, reliability, and peak performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
    • Drive new cloud-native principles
    • Integrate ML capabilities
    • Security and compliance measures,
    • Proto-typing, proof of concepts of new technologies

    We are looking for:

    • Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
    • Proven experience in implementing security best practices and compliance standards for enterprise-grade software products.
    • Expertise in architecting big data technologies and scalable distributed applications.
    • In-depth understanding of DevOps practices, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
    • Familiarity with distributed system patterns and their trade-offs.
    • Strong software engineering background in one or more programming languages.
