RM Recruit are supporting a Birmingham based charity in the recruitment of a Finance Manager for their team.

Supporting the Deputy CEO, this role will see you manage and deliver a professional, comprehensive and accurate internal finance service, which meetsthe needs of a variety project leads, funders, employees and external clients.

Your remit will include, but not be limited to:

Overseeing, via delegation, of the day-to-day processing activities of the Finance department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, cash and the finances of a non-charitable trading subsidiary.
Management of the month end and develop monthly management reports for project leads and senior management
Effective use of the accounting system to ensure the accurate production of management reports and accounts including cash flow forecasts, annual budgets, income and expenditure accounts
Accurate and timely submission of all relevant statutory returns required by HMRC and the charity commission
Continual development of finance policies, procedures and systems to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery
Efficient maintenance of financial records, ensuring these are communicated to, and understood by, managers and staff
