What to Expect

  • The EMEA Bodyshop Training team is seeking a Field MET/ Mechanical Technical Trainer to facilitate engaging technical content and upskill the capabilities of Tesla Bodyshop employees in the EMEA. This individual will take responsibility for ensuring Tesla Body Repair Centres are equipped to deliver the best ownership experience the world has ever seen for every Tesla owner. Key responsibilities include facilitating handson technical training for the approved Tesla body repair centres, mentoring and supporting the wider bodyshop training.


Utilizing your skills in facilitation, automotive repair expertise, and field support, paired with your passion for teaching and helping others, you'll get the opportunity to join Tesla at a time of rapid growth and innovation of our Body repair experience.

In this role, you'll have the support and partnership of not only the rest of the EMEA Body Repair team but a global partner network of learning professionals, engineers, and field support specialists.

What You'll Do

  • To deliver technical and projectbased training programmes in house in Tesla Body Repair centres within EMEA or at one of the Tesla Training centres.
  • To develop materials necessary for the delivery of new courses including lesson plans, support materials
  • Work in collaboration with other trainers and the instructional design team as an SME for the design and development of new training materials/programmes
  • To update and maintain materials necessary for the delivery of existing courses including lesson plans and support materials, delegate handouts, visual aids, pre
- and post-course materials, and other relevant resources such as e-learning etc

  • To support new Tesla Bodyshop's with technician training in various roles in various locations within EMEA when needed travel will be required
  • To attend meetings with Body repair teams as required and to keep abreast of new products and launches attending the manufacturer's factory as necessary
  • Work with the body repair support team to highlight potential ideas for new training based on their findings within issues and problems
What You'll Bring

  • You'll need to have experience as an automotive MET/service repair specialist who has worked extensively on the range of vehicles, products/manufacturers and would like to now utilise your skills and experience in a training role.
We would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

  • Automotive MET/Service training experience (highly desirable)
  • English speaking and writing training delivered in English
  • Experience as a MET/Service technician for a minimum of 5 years with experience of working on HV vehicles and components
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of service techniques including experience of working on HV vehicles and components, and HV battery replacement
  • Completed any HV training courses through OEM Training or private recognised training providers
  • Prioritization, be able to demonstrate priority of work
  • Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills
