Are you a passionate about working with people and looking for a new and exciting challenge to develop your skills within an inpatient mental health care setting?

Due to exciting developments, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a for 6 full-time Activity co-ordinators to join our well-established teams on the adult acute wards at both Airedale Centre for Mental Health and Lynfield Mount Hospital


The vacancies will be based on Fern and Heather Wards at Airedale and Ashbrook, Clover, Maplebeck and Oakburn wards at Lynfield Mount which are the acute psychiatric ward, caring for adults aged 18-65 who are experiencing acute mental illness.


As an activity co-ordinator you will work within the occupational therapy team to assist in the delivery of meaningful activity on the ward and within the local community, and support recovery and transition from hospital to home.

You will work collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team both on the ward and in the community. In addition, you will be involved in service development within the relevant area.


The role will cover 7.5 hour shifts covering 7 days and will comprise of earlies, lates and include with relevant pay enhancements as applicable.
