- Teach Spanish lessons to primary/secondary school students, focusing on developing their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in the Spanish language
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of the students
- Create and implement assessments to monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to students and their parents/guardians
- Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning and a culture of respect
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to develop and implement cross-curricular projects and initiatives
- Attend and contribute to departmental and staff meetings, as well as parent-teacher conferences
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in language teaching methodologies and use technology effectively to enhance the learning experience
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field. A relevant teaching qualification is highly desirable
- Proven experience in teaching Spanish at the primary/secondary level, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/guardians
- A solid understanding of effective teaching strategies and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan lessons and manage multiple responsibilities
- Passion for teaching and a genuine enthusiasm for the Spanish language and culture
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic educational environment
- Knowledge of educational technology tools and their integration into language teaching
