Join our supportive and innovative child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS) based in Portsmouth.

The aim of this service is to support a child/young person in continuing with their mental health recovery at home with their families with the right support and most importantly the least restrictive.

As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will be part of the wider CAMHS multi-disciplinary team delivering specialist mental health support for children and young people and their parents/carers.

All young people who are accepted to the service will follow a structured programme, in line with relevant NICE guidelines (for example anorexia nervosa, depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation).

Interventions are delivered by a multi-disciplinary clinical team comprising of: Consultant Psychiatrist, Psychologists, Nurses, Social Worker, Dietitian, Family Therapist, Assistant Psychologists and Managerial Support.

The CAMHS team is a strong and supportive team and has excellent structures to offer regular supervision and support.
