We currently have an exciting opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Building Maintenance Team as a
Supervisor

Your role:


As a Supervisor you will manage a multi trade team to undertake various responsive repairs and maintenance to our retain housing stock and corporate properties in accordance with Health and Safety, compliance, specifications, budgets, and set timescales.


You will be responsible for the day-to-day allocation of work, performance management, Health and Safety, and absence management of your multi-trade team as well as ensuring that all works undertaken meet the required standards.


What you will need:


You must also have a relevant building trade qualification or ideally 5 years' experience of a building maintenance environment, as well as a being qualified in one or more building related disciplines.

You will deal with customers and tenants on a regular basis, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
