Together as one team, we are Here to move.We are looking for Warehouse Team Leaders on both the day and night shifts for our site in Bradford.
The purpose of the role is to contribute to the smooth and efficient processing of operational activities within the warehouse in order to meet and exceedcustomer expectations.
Salary:
£29,000 + £3,500 shift allowance
Day Shifts: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm (alternating)
Night Shifts:10pm-6am
What will you be doing?
- To assist in the management of the Warehouse and ensure all KPI's and standards are met
- Ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- Ensuring all activities are undertaken in accordance with current legislation, company policies and procedures, standing instructions and contract practices.
- Handling and completing all documentation and information as required.
- Supporting and actioning daily tasks in line with productivity measures.
- Operating company equipment in a safe and proper fashion and in accordance with company policies, procedures and legislation.
- Become site expert in all systems used on the contract
- Provide management reports as required
- To ensure good working relationships are maintained at all times
- Responsibility to challenge and ascertain reasons for presence of unauthorised persons on site where appropriate.
About You
- Previous experience of management in a warehouse environment
- Forklift Licence
- Ability to motivate and drive a team
- Possess excellent communication and IT skills
- Display a flexible and proactive approach in order to meet and exceed operational objectives
- Be able to demonstrate how you promote an effective safety and people management culture
