- Assist the Surgeon and Anaesthetist for patient safety
- Ensure sterile instruments and safe practices
- Participate in teaching programs
- Identify teaching opportunities and mentor staff
- Identify training needs and participate in induction programs
- Mentor student ODPs and nurses
- Essential: Nurse or ODP with relevant registration
- Desirable: Operating theatre experience
- Essential: Recent experience in acute care settings
- Desirable: Minimum 12 months experience at Band 5, ability to teach
