    Glasgow Life is looking for a Project Development Producer: Culture and Heritage to join us on a full time, fixed term contract for a period up to 15 months until October 2025. As Project Development Producer: Culture and Heritage you will be joining our in-demand Arts, Music and Cultural Venues service. You will be part of a dedicated team which will support the development of Sauchiehall Street: Culture and Heritage District.

    The role
    As a Project Development Producer: Culture and Heritage you'll be an integral part of the team by leading the coordination of the development phase of Sauchiehall Street: Culture and Heritage District, which is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Reporting to Project Development Manager: Culture and Heritage and working alongside new and existing colleagues as part of a newly established team.

    The candidate
    If you're interested in joining us as a Project Development Producer: Culture and Heritage, you'll need:
    A relevant qualification in a culture or heritage discipline
    Significant experience of culture and/or heritage programme delivery
    A collaborative approach to developing culture and heritage programmes and activities
    Effective planning, coordination, problem solving and organisational skills.
    Understanding and experience of working in culture and heritage sectors

    Some of our roles are currently piloting hybrid working, with teams working between the office and home. Your line manager will agree these days with you. This balance enables you to continue much-needed collaborative working.

    Our Albion Street office has great links to public transport.

    This role is working 35 hours per week over 5 days.

    Important Dates: Closing date Sunday 28th April and interviews are provisionally scheduled for Thursday 9th and Friday 10th May.

    For Fixed Term Roles - If offer is made to internal employee (Glasgow Life or Council Family), at the end of the temporary period, eligible employees, if agreed will have a right to return to a role at their substantive grade within the council family.
