A permanent vacancy has arisen within our Materials Department, for a Kanban Co-ordinator, reporting to the Materials Superintendent.

Reporting to the Materials Superintendent, the main responsibility of this role is to maintain the integrity of the Materials Kanban process. This will involve:

Reporting kanban shortages through Material Planners

Assist in the implementation of ECN's

Maintaining kanban levels, setting up containers, kanban sizing and kanban database, label printing using SAP/Flowbase 400

Escheduling management of orders required for line

Daily processing of NRK's

Carrying out regular audits of the kanban pull sequences

Providing support for the introduction of supplier kanban and returnable packaging

Control of material throughout the plant

Assist with the development of SAP relating to the kanban process

Manage existing suppliers on the faxban process

Maintaining effective communication with the Materials DFT teams

In order to be considered for this position applicants must meet the following essential criteria:

Have at least 1 years' working experience of SAP or any other inventory or warehouse management system

Excellent communication skill at all levels

Excellent IT skills and written English

Able to work shifts if required

The ideal candidate will also meet the following desirable criteria:

Knowledge of Flowbase

Have a counterbalance forklift licence
