We are looking for an experienced videoeditor to create multiplatform content for Veritasium the legendaryeducational brand with over 18m subscribers across socialplatforms. Proven experience in reversioning YouTube content intoassets that drive views and engagement on multiple platforms isessential.

The ideal candidate will have a deepunderstanding of what drives video performance on differentplatforms with a particular flair for converting long form contentinto clips and cutdowns for TikTok YouTube Shorts and beyond. Werelooking for someone buzzing with ideas capable of proactivelyidentifying crossplatform opportunities as well as responding tobriefs.

An affinity with scientific subjectmatter is not essential but the ideal candidate will be fired up byElectrify Video Partners mission to inform and inspire millions onthe strength of outstandingcontent.

Tasks

• Editvideo content for multiple platforms with a particular focus onTikTok and YouTube Shorts
• Proactively identifyopportunities for crossplatform publishing and suggestideas
• Reversion existing content into cutdownsclips and supercuts
• Participate in meetingswith internal and external stakeholders including commercialpartners
• Keep abreast of platform developmentstrends features and the latest algorithmicnuances

Requirements

• Provenexperience of reversioning YouTube content for other platforms witha showreel to back it up
• Deep and currentknowledge of social platform algorithms especiallyTikTok
• Strong time management skills with theability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and meet tightdeadlines
• Demonstrated ability to workcollaboratively with creative teams responding to feedback in atimely fashion
• Strong attention to detail witha commitment to quality control and editorialstandards
• Excellent communication skills withthe ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concisemanner
