    Wayman Education is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Year 5 Teacher to join a brilliant primary school based in Northeast of London, Rayleigh, Essex from April 2024.

    The successful candidate will be passionate about education and have a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching in a Year 5 setting.

    Aside from that, the successful Year 5 Teacher will work collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience.


    Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities:
    Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire Year 5 students to reach their full potentialnMonitor and assess students' progress and keep regular records of Year 5 students' academic performancenCreate a positive learning environment that is both safe and conducive for learningnCollaborate with school management, teaching staff and parents to provide quality academic support for Year 5 studentsnPrepare and participate in school-related activities such as performances, events, and parent/teacher meetingsnAdhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all childrennUse a variety of effective classroom management strategies to ensure an orderly and safe learning environment


    Year 5 Teacher Requirements:
    Year 5 teacher experiencenQTS or equivalentnA recognized qualification in teaching, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Education or any relevant fieldnProven experience in teaching Year 5 in a mainstream primary or secondary schoolnExcellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learnersnStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and studentsnSound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in classnAbility to adapt teaching styles to facilitate different learning stylesnA passion for teaching and making a difference in students' lives

    Year 5 Teacher Salary


    The salary for this Year 5 Teacher position will be paid to scale on a permanent contract following the MPS/UPS pay scale.
