Abbotsbury is a GOLD accredited multi-speciality ward with a team dedicated to providing the highest standards of care.

We have the skills to adapt and change to the often very complex care needs of our patients and we have opportunities for staff nurses to joins us.


If you have a positive attitude and enjoy variety and teamwork then please consider joining our high-performing team who welcome newcomers and will help to develop and benefit from your skills.


Many of our 29 patients will have complex care needs and Abbotsbury is a ward where you will be given every opportunity to develop and share your acute nursing skills supported by a dedicated Clinical Practice Educator.


We care mainly for non-elective acute surgical and gastroenterology patients with the ability to be flexible, adapting our nursing skills to accommodate other specialities when necessary.


If you possess good organisational & interpersonal skills, enjoy working as part of a team and are willing to adapt and implement change, we would love to hear from you.
