Senior Administrator
Do you want a hybrid role as a Senior Administrator working at home and in the City Centre and Clifton? This is a really exciting temporary role until mid-December 2023 working within Disability & Inclusion Services.
The role is paying £13.50ph and is 30-37 hours a week with flexibility of hours during a Monday to Friday working week.
Skills Required:
- Strong interpersonal and customer care skills
- Excellent levels of accuracy
- Ability to manage a fluctuating workload and to prioritise tasks in response to competing demands.
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team and with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Ability to respond sensitively and appropriately to anxious and distressed individuals and use initiative appropriately when dealing with enquiries and making referrals.
- Highly numerate, with proficiency in interrogating complex data sets and the ability to produce concise and accurate statistical report.
- A working knowledge of equality legislation and of good practice to promote equality and diversity in a service provider setting.
- Experience in a customer service/ reception role and/or administrative and financial capacity
- Experience in dealing with people face to face and who may present in a distressed way.
- Demonstrable experience of the ability to remain calm and focussed under pressure of time constraints.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully working on own initiative and in a teambased environment.
Main Duties
- To support the development and implementation of a range of administrative tasks within the Disability and Inclusion Services Division
- Updating of records together with management of bookings and filing of correspondence
- Providing administrative support for the Autism Support Service, managing the designated mailbox, dealing with phone calls and arranging appointments.
- Responding sensitively to enquiries from diverse backgrounds for information about support offered by the wellbeing, disability support, financial support teams.
- Assisting with maintaining accurate records and updating correspondence.
- Processing payments and raising invoices relating to the provision of the specialist services, maintaining accurate and uptodate records.
- Provide administrative support to broader Departmental Activities including Team Leader Meetings / project work to anyone who has recently disclosed a disability to the service.
