Our client is an established business in search of an experienced Accounts Manager to join their team in this busy yet structured business on the outskirts of Preston.
This position is due to retirement and offers a competitive salary, excellent benefitsand the opportunity to be a valued member of the business within a friendly and close knit team.
Specific duties will include:
- Preparation of management accounts
- Prepayments and Accruals
- Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and bank postings
- Credit Control and Purchasing Support
- Development and issuance of weekly KPI's and reporting
- Developing and streamlining the use of stock/costing system
- Driving improvements in the daytoday tasks within the finance department.
- VAT returns (Sage 50) and PAYE submissions
- Audit and budget support
- Payroll support, including working with our 3rd party provider, posting of journals, and settlement of HMRC and Pension payments
- Daily Cash Posting and Bank Reconciliations
- Supplier invoice processing and payments (max invoices per month)
