An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to appoint a part time BACP accredited Academy Counsellor.

About the role:


The post holder will be responsible for the provision of counselling support to all students and therefore provide a caring and supportive environment where such concerns may be explored, thereby promoting positive mental and emotional health at The Misbourne.


  • The ability to communicate effectively and to develop good relationships with staff, management and outside agencies.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and autonomy.
  • To be proactive and efficient in managing workload
  • Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development.
  • Commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.

We are an 11-18 Academy in the picturesque village of Great Missenden in the heart of the Chilterns. We have nearly 1100 students on roll including a successful and growing Sixth Form.
