- Assist in the development of a pro-active, transparent, and continually improving HSES culture across the deugro group organisation, and particularly their assigned region.
- Perform both internal and external HSES audits of deugro group facilities, projects, and sub-contractors.
- Support deugro group entities and affiliates on Prequalification, Tenders, Questionnaires, planning & execution of projects as pertains to HSES, while maintaining ISO 45001 and
- Represent HSES at operational project sites, ports or equivalent locations when required, ensuring all branches remain compliant
- Create lessons learned, HSES moments, HSES case studies and assist in the development and roll out of HSES initiatives.
- Ensure all work activities performed by or on behalf of the deugro group have the correct level of risk management and risk mitigation in place.
- Ensure that HSES monthly KPI reporting is completed in a timely manner to a satisfactory standard.
- Responsible for ensuring all HSES occurrences, observations, audit findings are reported in the deugro group reporting system, followed up, investigated for root cause and implementation of corrective actions. Performing the role of Lead Investigator as required.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of HSES modules within deugro groups data analysis tool (SAI360).
- Minimum 2 years ́ work experience in a HSES role.
- Accredited Lead or Internal Auditor qualification and industry recognised Incident Investigation training
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent OH&S qualification
- Proven track record of working in the logistics industry preferably in a QHSES role
- Proficient in reading, understanding, and analysing technical QHSES documents
- Very good communication skills, fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Willingness to travel when required
