    Job Title: Nursery Practitioner - Level 3

    Location: Derby (DE3)

    Contract Type: Temporary and Permanent

    Hours: Full-time and Part-time

    Pay: £85 to £105 per day

    Bookmark Education are seeking passionate, nurturing, and energetic qualified Nursery Practitioners to join one of our excellent partner Nurseries in Mickleover (DE3).

    As a Nursery Nurse / Practitioner, you will be responsible for creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children. You will use your knowledge and understanding of how children learn to provide rich, fun and imaginative experiences that seek to inspire, engage and motivate. Importantly, you will be aware of child safeguarding procedures and ensure that these are always adhered to.

    Requirements:

    • Ensuring children are cared for in a happy secure and stimulating environment.
    • To have knowledge, understanding and confidence in keeping children safe
    • Carry out a key person role, building effective relationships with the parents and children and meeting the children's individual care and learning needs
    • Supervise, observe, encourage and support the children in meeting their personal goals
    • Have a genuine interest in ensuring children progress and develop, preparing them for school life in an effective manner
    • To plan, prepare and deliver the curriculum with the team to consistently meet the requirements of the EYFS.
    • To establish a trusting relationship with parents through working in partnership with them, giving daily informative feedback in order to meet their child's needs.
    • Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures
    • To work as part of a team, supporting children's needs appropriately.
    • Highest standards of Health & Safety and well being
