    Contract Type: Fixed Term (maternity cover)

    Salary Grade: Teachers Main Pay Scale (M1 - M3)

    Start Date of Post: 1st September 2024

    The trustees of Mellor Primary School are seeking to appoint a talented and self-motivated teacher who will make a positive contribution to the life of the school and embrace the exciting opportunities that exist here.

    The position is a full-time class teacher to cover maternity leave. Year group to be taught will be determined following appointment.

    The successful candidate will need to be:


    • An excellent and creative classroom practitioner.


    • Passionate about children's learning.


    • Able to work as part of a team.


    • Willing to be fully involved in the life of the school.

    4. How you interpret the teacher standard "fulfil wider professional responsibilities" and what this would mean for you and how you would demonstrate this.

    5. Include any other relevant points you wish to make.
