    Automatic Gates, Doors, and Barriers Engineer/Techinician

    Job Description:

    As an Installation, Maintenance and Repair Engineer, you will be responsible for visiting customer sites to install, service, and maintain a variety of automatic doors, roller shutters, gates, and barriers.

    Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of these systems, enhancing security and accessibility for our clients.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install, service, and maintain automatic doors, roller shutters, gates, and barriers at customer sites.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to perform timely and effective repairs.
    • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards, adhering to safety and quality protocols.
    • Communicate confidently and professionally with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Manage your schedule effectively to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.

    Skills and Experience Required:

    • Comprehensive knowledge of the gate, door, and barrier automation industry.
    • Full UK driving licence and CSCS or SSSTS certification.
    • DHF and ADSA qualifications are advantageous.
    • Strong ability to work independently and take initiative.
    • Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and team members.
    • Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

    Work Schedule:

    • Standard hours: Monday - Friday.
    • Participation in a 24/7 call-out rota approximately once every 12 weeks, with a £250 per week call rota allowance plus call-out hours.
