    Gower College Swansea is one of the largest colleges in Wales with a strong reputation for high quality teaching and learning. We have six campuses across the city with over 4, full time learners and 10, part time learners.     The role:

  • Part Time (18.5 hours per week)
  • Fixed Term for 1 Year
  • £13, - £14, per annum
  • Gorseinon & Tycoch

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess learners within the Motor Vehicle sector via NVQs, apprenticeships and cost recovery courses.
  • Work within the team to assess and internally verify learners' portfolios to ensure they meet the requirements of the external verifier and awarding bodies.
  • Work with customers in industry to maintain and build relationships and to secure contracts with existing and new organisations.

    • About you:

  • Teaching and learning qualification e.g. PTTLs or willing to work towards.
  • Assessor Award (CAVA, TAQA, A1, D32 / D33 or Training Assessment qualification) or willing to work towards.
  • Proven track record of working in motor vehicle setting

    • If you do not hold an assessing qualification, Gower College Swansea are proud to offer support and guidance to successful candidates to achieve their award / certificate in assessing under the TAQA qualifications framework. This is achieved via the college's in house continuous professional development facility.
