We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Reception Supervisor at the Telegraph Hotel, Coventry.


Who are we:


An iconic building at the very heart of the city centre, the hotel evokes the famed mid-century 1950s architecture of Coventry and will be a reflection of its former life as a thriving newspaper and printer works.

It will feature 88 air-conditioned bedrooms, several of which will be duplex penthouse suites, as well as a stylish restaurant in a glazed courtyard, meeting, event and conference space, alongside a rooftop bar overlooking Belgrade Square.


  • Previous reception experience preferred

Duties will include:

  • Assist all guests in a sincere and courteous manner, wherever possible going the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Deals with guests promptly upon arrival and departure, as per Company Standards for check in and out procedures.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel, as well as local area. Therefore, ensuring our guests are assisted effectively.
  • Professionally and competently operates the telephone system in line with both operating and Company Standards.
  • To ensure a professional appearance and manner to all visitors, resulting in positive PR both internally and externally,
  • Assisting the Front Office Manager with the day to day management of the front office operation
  • Supporting finical procedures and revenue capture
  • Driving additional revenue through product upselling
