A great opportunity has arisen at Hovis for an Electrically bias Multiskilled Engineer to join our team and to be the driving force behind the best quality brand in bakery.

You will have an opportunity to be responsible for generating improvements across our bakery sites and working collaboratively with the rest of the Engineering team and wider site.

To be part of a team providing essential maintenance operations, whilst maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety Standards, abiding by GMP and food handling hygiene standards to provide maximum manufacturing efficiency at the

2 years Proven Electrical engineering experience
~ Experience on PLC process equipment & plant
~ GSCE Grade C or above in English & Maths or equivalent.
~ Have completed a Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
~ Basic computer literacy
~ Capability to read and understand technical documentation e.g. electrical schematics
~ Hold a Full driving licence
~ Must be flexible with hours when required to meet the needs of the business

Previous Engineering experience within a food manufacturing business
PLC programming experience.
Strong engineering competence on Bakery production plant and auxiliary equipment
Basic Food Hygiene
