    The Nottingham Emmanuel School invite applications for the post of Teacher of Social Science from outstanding, enthusiastic, and committed teachers.

    We wish to appoint an imaginative Teacher of Social Science who will be professional, adaptable and dedicated to delivering high quality teaching. We expect the successful applicant to demonstrate a clear understanding of how to deliver the Social Sciences curriculum and raise the standards and achievement of our students.

    Nottingham Emmanuel School is an oversubscribed 11-18 school with 1,161 students on roll and we truly believe that education is a vehicle to transform lives and provide each child the opportunity to not only learn and grow, but also to develop aspiration and character. Our Academy is a diverse community, serving families and students from every academic, social, faith and ethnic background. Emmanuel has been praised nationally for its outstanding work as an effective, inclusive Church school. At Nottingham Emmanuel School our school moto is 'Together to learn, to grow, to serve'. Situated in West Bridgford, we are easily commutable from locations such as Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and North Leicestershire.
