Job description:


Programme and Project Support Officer - Role Overview
We are seeking a Programme and Project Support Officer to join our friendly, collaborative, and delivery-focussed programme team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Planning and Scheduling
  • Assist with and maintain appropriate systems to enable effective planning and scheduling.
  • Project Monitoring and Reporting
  • Maintain and monitor key project documentation to support the Programme and Project Manager and wider team.


  • Administration

  • Be responsible for project file management. Organise key project meetings, workshops, and events. You may also be required to provide secretariat support in the form of diary management, events arrangement, and general support.


  • Key Stakeholders

  • Supporting with room bookings, assisting with minutes and provide general organisational support to our key stakeholders.


  • Risks and Issues

  • Assist with and maintain risk and issue logs, escalating as appropriate._ _Prepare documentation for risk review meetings.

Person specification:


We are looking for someone who is seeking to learn and develop in a new role and is keen to support key stakeholders with their programmes and projects.


We are offering the opportunity for you to hone your Project and Programme Management skills in an exciting and changing environment.

You won't need experience, but you will need a willingness to immerse yourself in the role.


Essential requirements

  • Willingness to undertake a project management qualification such as Prince2 or Agile
  • High level communication skills enabling you to liase with a wide range of stakeholders and different levels of seniority.
  • An ability to identify risks and issues, escalating them as appropriate.
  • Good organisation skills and the ability to undertake a wide range of administrative tasks.
  • Good skills in MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and Sharepoint.
  • A willingness to undertake a role in the Project and Programme planning space.
