SENIOR CLINICAL FELLOW In PRE-HOSPITAL EMERGENCY MEDICINE And EMERGENCY MEDICINE

University Hospital Wales (UHW), Cardiff are excited to offer a 1 or 2 year, full time Fellowship in Emergency & Community Prehospital Emergency Medicine.

This programme is for energetic, enthusiastic doctors of ST3/ST4+ or equivalent level in Emergency Medicine who wish to develop their prehospital emergency medicine (PHEM) skills in the first Welsh Major Trauma Centre (MTC) and its partner the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust (WAST).

The post is available for 6-12 months from 1st February 2023

There are very few opportunities nationally for trainees to develop and gain first-hand experience in PHEM.

This is a superb opportunity for trainees who wish to build on their PHEM portfolio for potential National PHEM selection.

UHW has appointed a Consultant in PHEM who will be overlooking your training and encouraging participation in PHEM governance and quality improvement projects.
