Aspen Hill Village is a Residential and Nursing facility in Hunslet in Leeds.

We are looking for Housekeepers who are ready for supporting the elderly by providing excellent housekeeping within a safe environment.


The main duties will include:

Key Accountabilities:


  • Work all shifts as indicated by the staff rota
  • To help with the induction and training of all new Housekeeping assistants as needed
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
  • Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
  • Making beds and changing linens
  • Washing windows
  • Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
  • Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
  • Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
  • Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
  • Emptying household rubbish
  • Tidying up rooms
  • Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
  • Use safe working practices with all equipment, reporting faults to Hospitality Manager Supervisor
  • Work as part of the total Care Home Team, liaising with all other departments and attending all relevant meetings as indicated by Hospitality Manager
  • To ensure a smart appearance wearing the company uniform provided
  • Correct usage, storage and care of laundry equipment, adhering to COSHH procedures
  • To comply with all company policies and procedures including Health & Safety and Fire Safety etc

Working Hours

  • 30 hours per week on a rotational shift pattern (weekend working is required)

Part-time hours: 30 per week


Salary:
£9.54 per hour
