Do you have previous experience working within Accounts? Working as the Bookkeeper your benefits will include 30 days holiday including bank holidays, pension scheme and free car parking.

Hours of work are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.


You will be joining a well established organisation who have been established for 100 years + based in West Bromwich.


As the Bookkeeper, you will be:

  • Processing purchase invoices, dealing within up to 100 invoices weekly
  • Managing the employee expense claims
  • Reconciling the credit card statements
  • Being responsible for supplier statement reconciliations and reviewing aged creditors' reports
  • Preparing weekly supplier payment runs and validating new supplier bank details
  • Being responsible for bank reconciliations and allocating payments
  • Dealing with the intercompany balances
  • Raising purchase orders

As the Bookkeeper, you will have:

  • Previous experience working in a similar position within purchase ledger and accounts
  • Previous experience working on Sage, preference is either Sage Line 50 or 200
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • We are keen to speak to anyone who has previously worked as a Finance Assistant, Finance Administrator, Accounts Clerk, Accountant, Accounts Assistant, Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Credit Controller.
We are also interested in speaking to people with experience in using SAGE, Synergist Xero, or QuickBooks or people who have the following qualifications:
AAT and ACCA

As the Bookkeeper, your salary will be circa £28,000 per annum.
