    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Data Cabling Engineer.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, and termination of Cat6 and Cat6a branded copper cables within metal trunking and containment to ensure a reliable and efficient network infrastructure.

    The role involves working closely with the IT team to maintain high-quality data connectivity, support network expansion, and ensure optimal performance.

    Plan, install, and route Cat6 and Cat6a copper cables according to industry standards and best practicesMount, secure, and organize cable pathways, including cable trays, conduits, and wall penetrationsInstall cable connectors, outlets, and termination panels in compliance with design specificationsTermination and Labeling:Terminate copper cables onto jacks, connectors, and patch panels with precise attention to detail and adherence to industry standardsEnsure proper labelling of cables, connectors, and outlets for easy identification and maintenanceMaintain accurate documentation of cable layouts, terminations, and labellingTesting and Troubleshooting:Conduct comprehensive cable testing using appropriate tools to validate signal quality, continuity, and performanceTroubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues, signal degradation, and other cable-related problemsUtilize testing equipment such as cable testers and certification tools to ensure compliance with required specifications

    Quality Assurance:
