Senior Information Security Consultant

Salary:
Up to £75,000 + Bonus


Location:
Edinburgh (flexible)


One of the premier UK based, Microsoft gold partners are expanding their security assurance capability, by hiring for a senior information security consultant.

This area is the number one focus for their organisation moving forwards, supporting the technical engineering capability.

You will partner with clients to develop strategic transformation solutions as they migrate into Microsoft based solutions.

As a senior figure within the team you will have the opportunity to lead on complex projects, acting as the go to resource for the key client stakeholders throughout.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Leading customers through digital transformations into Microsoft based solutions, identifying current and potential vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct assessments and provide recommendation reports of client security frameworks to identify areas of potential risk and recommend remediation actions.
  • Work closely with Microsoft based compliance solutions to ensure alignment to critical regulatory controls.
  • Sit in the juncture between compliance and data governance to create end to end solutions for clients.

Key Requirements:


  • Practical experience with various regulatory compliance and assurance frameworks including ISO2700
  • Hands on experience of implementation or deployment of cloud focused compliance tools (ideally Microsoft Purview).
  • Strong understand of information assurance, including data governance, information security and compliance.
  • Ability to work closely with senior stakeholders, guiding them through complex digital programs.
