    Our client is at the forefront of revolutionizing the semiconductor industry with cutting-edge chip-chip link solutions.

    They are currently on the lookout for a junior Test Engineer to join the dynamic team.

    Required skills for the Test Engineer:

    • Experience in Product Test within a Fabless semiconductor environment.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and problem-solving tools.

    Required Competencies for the Test Engineer:

    • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
    • Self-motivated with excellent planning and time management skills.
    • Willingness to travel to various locations including offices, suppliers, and customer sites.
    • Proficiency in diagnostic and analytical skills with a knack for creative problem-solving.
    • Strong programming skills, preferably in C++ or similar languages.
    • Experience with scripting languages like Python, PERL, and Unix.
    • Knowledge of ATE (V93K/Teradyne) is advantageous.
    • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools (JMP, etc.) for NPI and Production support.

    Responsibility and Authority for the Test Engineer:

    • Reporting to the Test Development Manager.
    • Developing test plans in collaboration with key stakeholders.
    • Designing ATE board-level hardware for Probe and Final Test.
    • Debugging complex software and providing comprehensive documentation.
    • Creating reliable test program solutions for qualification, characterization, and production.
    • Collaborating with the Product Engineering Team to ensure production readiness.
    • Supporting bench to ATE correlation exercises.
    • Engaging with external vendors and OSATs for production transfer release.

    Salary Range: £30K-£50k depending on experience.
