- BTEC/HNC/HND as a minimum in a engineering subject such as mechanical, electronics engineering
- Hands-on experience assembling electro-mechanical systems, including soldering, cable crimping, cable assembly, mechanical parts assembly and disassembly
- Able to understand technical drawings and follow work instructionsDesirable experience
- Previous experience in a similar role
- General understanding and hands on experience with workshop equipment and environment
- Experience working with stepper motors, servo motors, automatic material handling systems
- Experience of soldering of PCB assemblies
- Work in an environment with hygiene and/or regulatory requirements, such as the food, cosmetics or medical sectors
- Able to create work instructions and document the automation process
- Experience of automated production line control and maintenance
