Description

Our client, based in Reading, is looking for an Electrician to join their company on a permanent basis.
The client specialises in MEICA work (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation.

Typical duties will include:

Carry out electrical installation work to BS767
Carry out installation, service and repair to variety of low voltage electrical control systems.
Carry out installation and commissioning of a variety of instrumentation systems, including pressure, levels, temperature and flow.
From time to time take charge of a working party and be responsible for lesser skilled employees, including Health & Safety.
Carry out test and inspection of electrical installation and providing satisfactory documentation as required by the Company's nominated certificating body (NICEIC, ECA etc.)
Provide written technical reports and other documentation as required by senior engineering professionals.
Full electrical apprenticeship or qualifications
Preferably 18th Edition Wiring regulations
Experience under 2391 would be advantageous
ECS Gold Card
Be PC literate and be able to demonstrate a basic background in IT skills.
Full driving licence with no more than 6 points

This is a permanent role, full time Monday to Friday, hours are 07:30 to 16:00 with 30 minutes unpaid lunch.

40 hours per week.
Salary of £34,000 to £36,000 plus benefits depending on experience.
Van, phone, fuel card, 5% employer pension contributions
